Tony Pineda

Head Coach / Owner

I started gymnastics at age 10 in Mexico City and went on to compete for UCLA, winning two NCAA National Championships. I proudly represented Mexico in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games, competed in six World Championships, and have two skills named after me in the International Code of Points.

With over 27 years of coaching experience, I bring a positive, hands-on, and technically focused approach to Spark Gymnastics Academy. I’m passionate about helping athletes and coaches reach their full potential.

Coach Kylie

Developmental Program Team Coach

I’ve lived in the Atascocita area all my life and competed in gymnastics from Level 3 through Level 7. After high school, I began coaching team gymnastics and later expanded into acro and dance. In 2025, I earned a 1st Place National Championship title for a solo dance routine—a moment I’m incredibly proud of!

Outside the gym, I love spending time with family, friends, and my kitty, Keko. I’m so excited to be back coaching and can’t wait to help our team girls grow, shine, and succeed!

Coach Sarah

Xcel Program Team Coach

I grew up in the Kingwood area and competed in both USAG and high school gymnastics. With over 15 years of coaching experience, I’m passionate about teaching technically sound gymnastics while supporting the development of the whole child.

As a mom of five, I understand that every athlete is unique, and I tailor my coaching to each child’s strengths and needs. I believe youth sports should be fun and work hard to ensure every gymnast has a positive experience—often while rocking my favorite fun socks.
Outside the gym, you can find me studying psychology, creating ceramics, or working in my garden.

Coach Gabbi

Developmental Program Team Coach

I am a former level 9/10 gymnast. My gymnastics career began at the age of 3 ½. I started as a recreational gymnast to pass the time while my older brother competed in his sport. I quickly fell in love with gymnastics & completed level 3 at 6 yrs old. After 10+ years as a competitive gymnast, competing against top athletes at State & Regional levels, I hung up my grips, but knew this sport was in my heart, and I would one day return.
I come from a family of professional athletes-turned-coaches (baseball) and have had the privilege of watching my dad coach his athletes, while experiencing first-hand as a gymnast, what effective, quality coaching can do for an athlete’s mind, body & spirit. To be the best, you must learn from the best. And as one of Coach Tony’s former gymnasts, the opportunity to join the Spark family as a coach was the biggest blessing. I am so excited to begin this journey with you all and hope to give back to the sport I love with everything it’s provided for me.

Coach Chelsea

Recreational (Pre-School, Girls, Tumbling)

Hi, I’m Chelsea! I grew up in Houston and have done gymnastics and dance my whole life. I have been coaching gymnastics for the past three years and absolutely love helping athletes grow both in and out of the gym. My coaching journey began before gymnastics, when I coached basketball and taught swim lessons to children and adults of all ages. I also worked at a local daycare for two years teaching 2 year olds. Those experiences helped me develop a patient, encouraging teaching style that I bring to every class.

I graduated from Summer Creek High School in 2020 and am certified in CPR and AED. My goal is to create a fun, positive, and safe environment where athletes can build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy the sport of gymnastics.

One of my favorite parts of coaching is watching athletes accomplish something they once thought was impossible. Whether a gymnast is just starting out or working toward advanced skills, I love being part of their journey and helping them reach their goals.

I love getting to teach the next generation of athletes and see them give their all to their sport. Outside the gym I am pursuing a bachelor's degree online in Mass Communications. I also enjoy reading, gardening, and creating all different kinds of art!

Coach Siri

Hello I am Coach Siri! I've been part of the gymnastics world for as long as I can remember! I started at just five years old and continued all the way through level 10 gymnastics. At 15, I discovered my true passion coaching. Since then, I’ve loved helping young athletes grow in skill and confidence, and nothing beats seeing their smiles when they accomplish something new or just even having fun.

After high school, I continued my athletic journey at a private university in North Carolina, competing on a first year acrobatics and tumbling team all the way through senior year.

Now, as a graduate student in criminal justice, I bring the same dedication, focus, and energy from the gym into everything I do. Coaching kids isn’t just a job for me it’s a joy and a lifelong passion!

Coach Bella

Office Manager/Recreational (Pre- School, Girls, Tumbling)

Hi, I'm Coach Bella! I have been teaching gymnastics and dance for two years, specializing in beginner to intermediate athletes. While I loved participating in the sport myself, I quickly discovered that my true passion was helping others learn, grow, and build confidence through gymnastics.

I started coaching at just 15 years old, and from that moment I knew it was what I wanted to do as a career. I enjoy creating a positive, encouraging environment where athletes can develop new skills, celebrate their achievements, and have fun along the way. I am also CPR and AED certified, which helps me ensure a safe and supportive environment for every athlete in my care.

In addition to coaching, you can often find me at the front desk. I love helping families, staying organized, and assisting with planning and day-to-day operations to help keep everything running smoothly. Whether I'm coaching on the floor or helping at the front desk, I'm passionate about making every athlete and family feel welcome at Spark!
