Tony Pineda

Head Coach / Owner

Tony Pineda began gymnastics at the young age of ten in his hometown of Mexico City. By the age of fourteen, he was invited to train in Oregon, where he pursued his education at South Eugene High School. In 1984, Tony joined the UCLA Men's Gymnastics Team. During his time at UCLA, the team secured two national championship titles in 1984 and 1987.

Tony proudly represented Mexico in two Olympic Games, namely the 1984 games in Los Angeles and the 1988 games in Seoul, South Korea. He also participated in six World Championships and has two moves named after him in the International Code of Points as a result of being the first to perform these skills in International Competition.

With more than twenty-seven years of coaching experience, Tony brings his passion for the sport, positive mindset, hands on approach and technical expertise to Spark Gymnastics Academy. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to guide gymnasts and coaches towards reaching their full potential.

Coach Kylie

Developmental Program Compulsory Team Coach

Hi, I’m Kylie! I’ve lived in the Atascocita area all my life and competed in gymnastics from Level 3 through Level 7. After high school, I began coaching team gymnastics and later expanded into acro and dance. In 2025, I earned a 1st Place National Championship title for a solo dance routine—a moment I’m incredibly proud of!

Outside the gym, I love spending time with family, friends, and my kitty, Keko. I’m so excited to be back coaching and can’t wait to help our team girls grow, shine, and succeed!

Coach Sarah

Xcel Program Team Coach

Sarah grew up in the Kingwood area and competed in both USAG and high school gymnastics programs. Bringing over 15 years of coaching experience to the Spark Team and a passion to teach technically sound gymnastics, Sarah also believes that coaching gymnastics is about more than teaching skills, it is about developing the whole child. Parenting her own 5 kids has taught Sarah to recognize that each child has their own individual strengths and struggles, which helps her to customize workouts for each athlete. Above all, Sarah recognizes that youth sports should be fun and works hard to make sure that every athlete has a positive experience. You can spot her in the gym rocking her fun socks. Outside the gym, you can find Sarah studying psychology, creating ceramics, or working in her garden.

Coach Gabbi

Team Coach

Hi Spark family! My name is Gabbi, and I am a former level 9/10 gymnast. My gymnastics career began at the age of 3 ½. I started as a recreational gymnast to pass the time while my older brother competed in his sport. I quickly fell in love with gymnastics & completed level 3 at 6 yrs old. After 10+ years as a competitive gymnast, competing against top athletes at State & Regional levels, I hung up my grips, but knew this sport was in my heart, and I would one day return.
I come from a family of professional athletes-turned-coaches (baseball) and have had the privilege of watching my dad coach his athletes, while experiencing first-hand as a gymnast, what effective, quality coaching can do for an athlete’s mind, body & spirit. To be the best, you must learn from the best. And as one of Coach Tony’s former gymnasts, the opportunity to join the Spark family as a coach was the biggest blessing. I am so excited to begin this journey with you all and hope to give back to the sport I love with everything it’s provided for me.

I love seeing the joy and excitement when a challenge is overcome or a new skill is mastered—it’s what makes coaching so rewarding! When I’m not in the gym, you can find me spending time with my son or in the kitchen. I’m excited to help you reach your full potential and make gymnastics a memorable part of your life!

I love getting to teach the next generation of athletes and see them give their all to their sport. Outside the gym I am pursuing a bachelor's degree online in Mass Communications. I also enjoy reading, gardening, and creating all different kinds of art!

Coach Siri

Recreational (Pre-School, Girls, Tumbling)

Hello I am Coach Siri! I've been part of the gymnastics world for as long as I can remember! I started at just five years old and continued all the way through level 10 gymnastics. At 15, I discovered my true passion coaching. Since then, I’ve loved helping young athletes grow in skill and confidence, and nothing beats seeing their smiles when they accomplish something new or just even having fun.

After high school, I continued my athletic journey at a private university in North Carolina, competing on a first year acrobatics and tumbling team all the way through senior year.

Now, as a graduate student in criminal justice, I bring the same dedication, focus, and energy from the gym into everything I do. Coaching kids isn’t just a job for me it’s a joy and a lifelong passion!
